When we lost the old forum, we lost about 15+ years of history, threads, photos, contests, drama, etc...
This thread is an effort to document some of beginnings of SCAPE, that helped foster this great club and hobby.

This was the golden age of SCAPE. Monthly meetings averaged 60+ people and we were bursting at the seams.
John Kim joined APC Jan, 2008 and TPT Feb, 2008. Joined SCAPE Mar, 2008.
Chris Garin joined APC and SCAPE July, 2011
In 2023, the original forum database was hacked and data was unrecoverable. Around the same time, our domain expired because the Club's Treasurer disappeared and could not be reached. The Club started over again, from scratch, in 2023.
We have now entered SCAPE 3.0
- A California C-Corp entity with Bylaws
- Monthly meetings with a presentation/speaker on odd numbered months and LFS visits on even numbered months
- Participation at third party events
- Sponsorships
- And soon... an Aquascape Exhibition
