Changes Coming to SCAPE
Hello folks!
There are some significant changes coming to SCAPE in 2025.
We are adopting a more formal structure which will involve a lot of elements/factors.
Most notably, the leadership team has been working in the background for a couple years now to develop club bylaws and structure to help facilitate continuity of this organization.
This post will be updated with important details and information so it can all be found in one place.
In the meantime, here are some highlights of what's coming down the pipe:
- Membership dues are coming. However, we will have a free membership option, that will come with limitations.
- Changes to auction withholdings
- Return of the famous member appreciation giveaways
- Collaboration with other aquarium societies/organizations
- Participation in third party events
The 2025 SCAPE Leadership Team will consist of:
President - John Kim
Vice President - Tom Mays
Secretary - Michelle Hong
Treasurer - Tom Mays
Director/email - Ken Murch
Director/Social Media/Outreach - Carlo Fuller
Director - Warren Chen
Website/IT - Chris Garin
We will be looking for more help as time goes so if you're interested in helping in some fashion, please reach out to one of the folks listed above!
